01The campus

Management education that is practical, relevant, and future-focused.

Management Development Campus (MDC) is the academic institution of the Management Association of Nepal (MAN), established to develop competent, ethical, and innovative business leaders capable of addressing the challenges of today's dynamic global economy. As a sister organisation of MAN, MDC combines academic excellence with industry engagement to provide management education that is practical, relevant, and future-focused. MDC was established under MAN in 2006 and delivers management education in affiliation with Purbanchal University.

Affiliated with Purbanchal University and recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Nepal, MDC offers graduate and executive education programmes designed to meet the evolving needs of working professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, and aspiring business leaders. Our flagship MBA Executive programme blends academic rigour with real-world business practices, enabling students to advance their careers while continuing their professional commitments.

At MDC, learning extends beyond the classroom. Our curriculum emphasises experiential learning through case studies, research, industry projects, guest lectures, leadership development, and interactions with distinguished business leaders and policymakers. Supported by highly experienced faculty members and a strong network of corporate partners, students gain practical insights and valuable professional connections that prepare them for leadership roles across diverse sectors.

Being part of the Management Association of Nepal (MAN) — the country's apex professional management organisation established in 1979 — provides MDC students with unique opportunities to participate in executive development programmes, national conferences, seminars, management awards, research initiatives, and professional networking events. This close integration between academia and industry creates a distinctive learning environment where knowledge meets practice and leadership is nurtured.

Today, MDC remains committed to producing competent managers, responsible leaders, and lifelong learners who create sustainable value for organisations and society. Through innovation, academic excellence, ethical leadership, and continuous engagement with industry, MDC strives to be one of Nepal's leading institutions for management education and executive development.

04The Institution Behind MDC

The Management Association of Nepal.

The national apex body of management professionals in Nepal — and the four-decade legacy that Management Development Campus is built upon.

The Management Association of Nepal (MAN) is the national apex body of management professionals in Nepal. Established in 1979 with the active support of the corporate sector, MAN is a non-profit, non-partisan, membership-based professional organisation dedicated to promoting management excellence, leadership development, and professional growth in Nepal.

For more than four decades, MAN has served as a leading platform for developing management professionalism and fostering a performance-oriented, productive, competitive, and socially responsible management culture. Through its initiatives, MAN has strengthened managerial capacity across the corporate, government, development, academic, and entrepreneurial sectors.

Today, MAN represents a vibrant network of over 2,500 individual members and more than 250 institutional members from across the Nepalese economy and society — a network for professional collaboration, knowledge exchange, leadership development, and policy engagement.

As a founding member of the Asian Association of Management Organizations (AAMO), MAN maintains strong regional and international connections, with professional linkages to the American Management Association (AMA), All India Management Association (AIMA), International Management Association of Japan (IMAJ), and North India Management Association (NIMA).

Over the years MAN has become a respected institution known for executive education, professional training, leadership forums, management conferences, policy dialogue, research, publications, and national recognition programmes such as the Manager of the Year Award. Management Development Campus (MDC), as a sister organisation, builds on this legacy with quality higher education and leadership training for the modern world.
